When to use Low Foam detergent and When to use High foam detergent
- For automatic washing machines which are front loaded (has door from the front) always use low foam detergents (liquid washing detergents, or powder washing detergents) which are labeled as low foam detergent. Never use High foam detergent as it may damage your washing machine as its not designed to handle high foam detergents
- High foam detergents (liquid washing detergents, or powder washing detergents) are suitable for top load washing machines, washing machines with two tanks or for hand washing

ReplyDeleteJust take an empty bottle of water and fill it with 2 tablespoons of the laundry detergent.Fill half of the bottle with water, then shake it.If you notice that the foam disappears within 5-10 seconds, this is a low foam. But if the foam lasted for more than 5 seconds is considered high foam .... In general some detergents for poor storage consdtions lose the foam property. greetings purecare lundary

ReplyDeleteHi, I am testing a new liquid laundry detergent for a company. It's watery, unlike most store bought detergent. While the machine was running, you couldn't see a lot of suds, which made me think it wasn't doing its job. However, when the laundry was done, they came out super clean and smelled like a 5 star resort hotel linen.... My question is: why are regular liquid detergent produce so much more suds? Do they clean better? What are the benefits of having so much foam in laundry detergent?
ReplyDeleteSo I bought a new Washing machine and I always use liquid softner with great smell and the clothes smells amazing. One time I read on one of the sweater not to use a softner. The clothe came out clean but with no odor. I then remembered that I am not seeing any foam while the washing cycle is running, I am persil. Soy question is, are the laundry supposed to smell something if using a detergent with no odor indication, like lavender or other stuff? And the persil is low foam, is it normal not to see any foam?
